Okay, Youkai inspired me to do a little net RPG'ing. This'll be outright crazy, but hey, that's half the fun of life, ne?

SO. This'll be for building the world. I'm prolly gonna be blending a 3.5ish style and Online.

http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/
This is a wicked site. It includes various options for rolls, and records everything once you register a character.

Here's what a stat page looks like.

So as we can see Mr. LGA has:
STR 14, DEX 14, CON 11, INT 14, WIS 11, CHA 9
for those who don't know the 3.5 rules that means his has bonus of
STR +2, DEX +2, CON +0, INT +2, WIS +0, CHA -1

Fighter stats if I ever saw em.

linking the stats also shows the user, which shows ALL the rolls made by that file. So, yeah, I'd know if you kept rerolling for mad points.

RIGHT. So we have our dice. Let's work on our pens and pencils.

*looks around at the forum* done.

Okay, so we're gonna start with one city right now. We can either make a 'Generic City' or have a fictionalize NYC or something.

Anyone have a preferred city?

As for classes, I think I'm going to start with NPC classes for first level (oh noes) but that doesn't count toward character level (so rogues will still get there sexy skill points for high int scores)

For everything D20: http://www.d20srd.org/

As for Classes:
http://www.d20srd.org/indexes/classes.htm

So with your first level being with an NPC class a little 'convesion'
Adept=...yeah adept actually works here.
Aristocrat=Let's say... White-collar? sure, why not.
Commonerwell... blue collar. yeah, that works.
Expert <.< Survivalist? *shrug*
Warrior either ROTC or maybe cop.

and since we really wouldn't be able to choose that...
1-10-commoner
11-13-aristocrat
14-16-Expert
17-19 warrior
20 Adept

http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2221433/

So Louis is a Blue Collar.

SO he starts with 4HP (assume max for HP for NPC class and first PC Level. + Con bonus, none in my case)

16 skill points to put in:
Climb
Craft
Handle Animal
Jump
Listen
Profession
Ride
Spot
Swim
Use Rope

And he knows how to use one weapon effectively.(Club/Baseball bat)
He also gains no bonuses whatsoever.
...
Moving on!

really it's gonna run like 3.5 for the most part. But yeah.

So I'm gonna make a demo page for an 'awakening' session. (bridging the NPC/PC gap)

I'll post in two halves DM and PLAYER and anyone can comment if they wish.

BETA TESTING!!!!, oh hell this isn't even beta it's the bloody drawing board.
